As at 24 February 2016
United Nations iLibrary actively encourages the adoption of the publications available on this platform for non-commercial use in college courses, including MOOCs.
At subscribing universities (see the ‘About’ section for details of your closest institution) students and faculty have online access to a wide range of content in different formats. These can be integrated into course packs and electronic reserves without the need to request permission. If your library does not provide access to the content you require, ask your librarian to subscribe.
If you are teaching at an educational institution that does not have access to the United Nations iLibrary, and would like to consider a particular publication for use in your course, you can browse through the free preview read option, or contact your library to set up a free trial.
If you wish to browse through our print catalogue, please visit shop.un.org. Print publications may also be purchased through our network of distributors: shop.un.org/distributors. For any additional information please write to email@example.com.
If you wish to receive a print review copy of any title in our catalogue we’re providing a 50% discount off the list price. You may purchase up to five examination copies per year at this special price. Once you have selected a publication, please write us on your institution’s letterhead stating its title, sales number and ISBN and send your request to the address or fax below.
If you decide to adopt the title as a course textbook, a refund may be claimed for the examination copy you purchased. To request a refund, please write or fax us on your institution’s letterhead providing information on the order (quantity, date, semester) placed by your institution’s bookstore.
Allow approximately 2 weeks for processing and delivery. All requests are subject to availability and approval.
