This lesson looks at ways of dealing with a child who has admitted committing terrorism-related offences, without resorting to formal proceedings and by considering the use of alternatives, such as diversionary measures. It considers why this approach can be a useful and effective tool, the strategic implications in putting it into practice and different measures that can be used to ensure public security concerns are addressed effectively at the same time.
