The UNECE Code of Good Practice was developed under the United Nations Development Account project 1819AD on “Increased policy coherence and sustainability of national production and consumption patterns in North-South and South-South agriculture trade”. This second edition of the Code was prepared during 2020–2021 by an ad-hoc drafting group chaired by the delegation of Sweden and with experts from the UNECE region and beyond including delegates to UNECE Specialized Section on Standardization of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables. The secretariat would like to thank all experts and delegates who participated in this work for their substantive contributions and strong engagement.
