The 2016 International Dialogue on Migration (IDM), IOM’s premier policy forum, consisted of two workshops. Both were dedicated to in-depth discussion of the implementation, follow-up and review of migration in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, specifically of the migration-related targets under the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). The first workshop was held at the United Nations (UN) in New York on 29 February and 1 March (the first regular two-day IDM session to take place there), and the second in Geneva on 11 and 12 October.
