Technology transfer for the sustainability and resilience transformation

Given the urgent climate and environmental crises, the question of how sustainable technologies can be accelerated not only in the most advanced but also in developing countries has gained momentum. The lack of advanced technologies and related capabilities to use them has been seen as a core reason for developing countries' lack of socio-economic dynamics. Also, access to technology became an element of concepts for an environmentally sustainable world. Commitments in this direction have been repeated several times, e.g., at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro (1992) and the Paris Agreement of 2015.
