Balanced, integrated and equitable management of natural resources underpins the timely delivery of all the SDGs by 2030. Likewise, the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the SDGs after 2020, including assuring the world’s collective ability to sustain this effort, must be central in all discussions. With just ten years to go to the 2030 deadline, an ambitious global push is underway to mobilize governments, civil society, businesses and calling on all people to make their personal goal their contribution to the Global Goals. The Decade of Action (2020-2030) calls for accelerating sustainable solutions to all the world’s biggest challenges – ranging from poverty and gender inequality to climate change and closing the finance gap.
