This Assessment of Development Results (ADR) in Malawi is an independent, country-level evaluation of the programme of work undertaken by the United Nations Development Programme in Malawi. It was undertaken by the UNDP Evaluation Office using a team of national consultants. The evaluation seeks to determine the quality of performance by UNDP and its contribution to achievement of the country’s national development goals. The evaluation criteria are relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability. The evaluation also assesses how UNDP strategically positioned itself and used its comparative advantage to add value to national development priorities and results. The evaluation covers the period 2002-2011.
