In general, the relevance of the interventions funded by UNDP and its partners is widely recognized. In terms of documentation, UNDP programming frameworks (CPD, CPAP) are almost perfectly consistent with the various strategic planning documents of the Government (DSCRP), donors (CAF) and the United Nations (UNDAF), which is not surprising given that UNDP has been instrumental in developing these strategic documents. In terms of meeting the population’s needs, the programme has also been quite relevant in that it addressed key themes for the country’s future and to improve the welfare of the population. The programme is also aligned with UNDP global and regional strategies and responds to the priorities and values of the United Nations.
