At its fifty-fifth, fifty-sixth and fifty-seventh sessions, in 2003, 2004 and 2005, the International Law Commission provisionally adopted 16 draft articles on the topic “Responsibility of international organizations”. These draft articles have been divided into four chapters, with the following headings: “Introduction” (arts. 1–3), “Attribution of conduct to an international organization” (arts. 4–7), “Breach of an international obligation” (arts. 8–11) and “Responsibility of an international organization in connection with the act of a State or another international organization” (arts. 12–16).
