Intraregional trade of ESCWA member countries

Available statistics for 2012 indicate that the performance of nonoil intraregional trade in ESCWA member countries, which had picked up in 2010, was sustained in all member countries for which data were available. Indeed, intraregional exports have increased by US$6.6 billion in those countries, amounting to an increase rate of 25.4 per cent compared to the levels of 2011 (table 2-2).
