Status of multilateral arms regulation and disarmament agreements

The following list shows action taken,“ if any, during the period 1 January to 31 December 1986 with regard to the arms regulation and disarmament agreements for which full information is provided in the second edition of the publication entitled Status of Multilateral Arms Regulation and Disarmament Agreements. The appendix also includes, for the first time, information with respect to the South Pacific Nuclear Free Zone Treaty, opened for signature in 1985. No relevant agreements were concluded or opened for signature during the period 1 January to 31 December 1986.
