Peaceful uses of nuclear energy and IAEA safeguards and related activities

Deliberations of the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, both within and outside the United Nations, have focused on two divergent points of view. The other stresses the risks engendered by the transfer of nuclear material, equipment and technology that might lend themselves to the manufacture of nuclear weapons.
