UNDP’s contribution to development results

UNDP has contributed to development results in Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only through interventions funded from core funds and from other donors, but also through a range of advisory, advocacy and information-sharing activities. The role of UNDP in making the transition from post-conflict emergency aid to development support was recognized in the 2006 revision of the MTDS: “The UNDP is directed toward the realization of different activities that gradually changed the focus from post-war recovery to questions connected to the strengthening of the capacity for sustainable and long-term socioeconomic development.” The chapter reviews the programme performance in contributing to development results, within the context of national priorities and strategies.
