Africa Green Business and Financing Report

The UNDP Africa Green Business and Financing Initiative (AGBFI) aims at advancing ways and means to support private sector engagement in green business and financing that can drive a sustainable and impactful change in the sector. The Africa Green Business and Financing Report and case studies, which form a core component of AGBFI, offers an overview of the current state of green business and financing across Africa, and provides specific references to the wide range of activities, projects, and private companies that are driving innovation and growth in this space. It focuses on ‘green’ sectors that are of the utmost strategic importance for the continent, including renewable energy, water, waste management and related infrastructure; sustainable agriculture and food production; forestry and nature-based solution; eco-tourism; and a broad sector called technology and next-generation solutions.
