Minimum health and safety procedures, including personal protective equipment

Safety is a personal and institutionallmanagement responsibility. Each individual must know what hazards are present and personnel must maintain constant vigilance for unsafe and potentially hazardous conditions. This Annex provides for minimum health and safety procedures that should be applied when chemicals are handled for disposal. It also summarizes the safety equipment recommended by most fire departments for different levels (A to D) of hazards.
