United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)

In 1999, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) completed its reform programme and embarked on a new and more direct path towards the industrialization of developing countries and economies in transition. Throughout the year, UNIDO focused on adjusting and refining its programming and implementation methods, and on introducing quality control for its programmes and activities.
