Quality control system (QCS) activities focus on all functions that need to be performed to produce a conforming product. These include providing an adequate infrastructure and work environment, setting up specifications for raw matenals and finished product, developing work instructions for employees, procuring raw materials and components of the right quality, controlling the production processes, proper handling and storage of materials and products, carrying out stage and final inspection of the product, timely maintenance of the process hardware and testing equipment.
