Several factors can be attributed to low contraceptive prevalence. The most important factors are low levels of socio-economic development, the lower status of women, the strong preference for sons, the high level of infant and child mortality and limited access to health and family planning facilities. %U https://www.un-ilibrary.org/content/journals/15644278/6/1/5
