Dialogues at the Economic and Social Council
Assessment of Development Results
This series assesses the attainment of intended and achieved results as well as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) contributions to development results at the country level. Their scope include but is not confined to UNDP responsiveness and alignment to country challenges and priorities; strategic positioning; use of comparative advantage; and engagement with partners. The number and selection of countries and the timing of these evaluations are determined to ensure coverage and to allow findings and recommendations to feed into the preparation of the subsequent programme. Wherever possible these evaluations will be conducted in conjunction with other United Nations organizations.
Thematic Evaluation Reports
This series assesses United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) performance in areas that are critical to ensuring sustained contribution to development results in the context of emerging development issues and changing priorities at the global and regional levels. To this end thematic evaluations may cover for example UNDP policies focus areas partnerships programmatic approaches cooperation modalities or business models. The Evaluation Office also engages in evaluations conducted jointly with other United Nations organizations to assess system-wide performance.
Global and Regional Programme Evaluations
Global regional and South-South programme evaluations assess the performance and intended and achieved results of those programmes. They are intended to reinforce the substantive accountability of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the Executive Board and will be timed to contribute to the preparation and approval of the next programme.
State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples
The State of the World’s Indigenous Peoples represents the fulfilment of a recommendation by the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues that a United Nations publication be produced to analyse a broad spectrum of indigenous peoples’ issues and serve as a key advocacy tool for raising awareness and promoting the rights of indigenous peoples as enshrined in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and other international instruments. Each report focuses on different issues faced by indigenous peoples with topics ranging from poverty and well-being culture environment education health human rights and emerging issues.
Commodities at a Glance
Commodities are products stemming from agricultural production or mining production that have not yet been transformed: agricultural products tropical beverages energy minerals ores and metals. The series Commodities at a Glance aims to collect present and disseminate accurate and relevant statistical information linked to international primary commodity markets in a clear concise and reader-friendly format.
ESCAP Financing for Development Series
Published every two years ESCAPs book series on financing for development publishes monographs on selected issues on financing for development from a regional Asia-Pacific perspective. The series aims at providing substantive analyses and policy discussions to contribute to regional and national dialogues on strategies for the implementation of selected aspects of financing for development included in both the Addis Ababa Action Agenda and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Human Development Perspectives
Human Development Perspective series was introduced by the UNDP's Human Development Report Office in 2020 as a flexible platform for extending the research from the annual global Human Development Report and to cover the emerging issues facing human development year-round.

Editada por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe de las Naciones Unidas cada ejemplar se centra en las tendencias económicas la industrialización la distribución del ingreso el desarrollo tecnológico y los sistemas monetarios así como en la aplicación de la reforma económica y la transferencia de tecnología. La Revista trianual es escrita en inglés y español cada ejemplar ofrece aproximadamente 12 estudios y artículos realizados por expertos autorizados o compilados de las actas de la conferencia.

Le Courrier de l'UNESCO
Parmi tous les périodiques publiés par les Nations Unies et ses institutions spécialisées Le Courrier de l’UNESCO a toujours tenu la première place par le nombre de ses lecteurs et la variété de son public. C’est dans ces termes que s’exprimait en 1988 le journaliste américain Sandy Koffler fondateur et premier rédacteur en chef de cette revue qui accompagne depuis 1948 les actions de l’UNESCO. Au fil du temps le Courrier a beaucoup évolué tant sur le plan du contenu que de la forme. Mais il est toujours resté fidèle à sa mission première : promouvoir les idéaux de l’UNESCO servir de plate-forme au dialogue entre les cultures constituer une tribune de débats internationaux. La revue disponible en ligne depuis 2006 s’adapte en permanence aux nouveaux besoins de ses lecteurs dispersés à travers le monde : il est publié en ligne dans les six langues officielles de l’Organisation - anglais français espagnol arabe russe et chinois - ainsi qu’en coréen esperanto et portugais et il est également imprimé en tirage limité.
The UNESCO Courier
Of all the journals published by the United Nations and its specialised institutions the UNESCO Courier has always occupied first place for the number of its readers and the range of its audience said the American journalist Sandy Koffler the Courier’s founder and first editor-in-chief in 1988. The magazine has changed a great deal over the years both in content and in form. But it pursues its original mission: promote UNESCO’s ideals maintain a platform for the dialogue between cultures and provide a forum for international debate. Available online since March 2006 the UNESCO Courier serves readers around the world in the six official languages of the Organization (Arabic Chinese English French Russian and Spanish) and also in Esperanto Korean and Portuguese. A limited number of issues are also produced in print.
El Correo de la UNESCO
De todas las publicaciones periódicas publicadas por las Naciones Unidas y sus organismos especializados El Correo de la UNESCO ha ocupado siempre el primer lugar por el número de sus lectores así como por la variedad de su público. Así se expresaba en 1988 el periodista norteamericano Sandy Koffler que fue el fundador de la revista y su primer redactor jefe. Con el correr del tiempo el contenido y la forma del Correo han evolucionado mucho. Sin embargo la revista ha permanecido fiel a su vocación de siempre: propagar los ideales de la UNESCO servir de plataforma el diálogo entre las culturas y servir de tribuna para debates internacionales. Disponible en línea desde marzo de 2006 El Correo se adapta a las necesidades de sus lectores diseminados por el mundo entero: su publicación electrónica en formato PDF en las seis lenguas oficiales de la Organización (árabe chino español francés inglés y ruso) así como en coreano esperanto y portugués va acompañada de una edición impresa con un número de ejemplares reducido.

Среди всех периодических изданий публикуемых организациями и специализированными учреждениями Объединенных Наций «Курьер ЮНЕСКО» всегда был первым по количеству и разнообразию своих читателей. Так в 1988 году о «Курьере» отзывался американский журналист Сэнди Коффлер ‒ основатель и первый главный редактор издания сопровождающего ЮНЕСКО во всех ее действиях с 1948 года.
Со временем «Курьер» значительно видоизменился как в плане содержания так и в плане формата. Однако издание всегда оставалось верным своей первой и главной миссии: отстаивать идеалы ЮНЕСКО служить платформой для межкультурного диалога и трибуной для международных дебатов.
«Курьер» у которого в марте 2006 года появилась онлайн-версия стремится отвечать потребностям читателей разбросанных по всему земному шару: журнал выходит в формате PDF на шести официальных языках Организации (английском французском испанском арабском русском и китайском) а также на португальском эсперанто и корейском языках. Кроме того журнал издается ограниченным тиражом.

من بين مجمل الدوريات الصادرة عن منظمة الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة، تبقى رسالة اليونسكو في المرتبة الأولى من حيث عدد قرائها و تنوع جمهورها. هذا ما عبر عنه الصحفي الأمريكي ساندي كوفلير سنة 1988، متحدثا عن هذه المجلة التي أسسها وكان رئيس تحريرها الأول، وهي المجلة التي ترافق اليونسكو في كل نشاطاتها منذ سنة 1948.
وقد تطوّرت رسالة اليونسكو عبر السنين من حيث المضمون والشكل. لكنها بقيت وفية لمهمتها الأولى ألا وهي تعزيز المثل العليا لليونسكو، وتوفير منصة للحوار بين الثقافات ومنبر للنقاشات الدولية.
مجلة "رسالة اليونسكو"، المتوفّرة على شبكة الأنترنات منذ سنة 2006، ما فتئت تتكيّف باستمرار مع الحاجيات المتجددة لقرائها المتواجدين في كل أنحاء العالم. وهي تُنشر، عبر شبكة الإنترنت، باللغات الرسمية الست للمنظمة -الإنجليزية، والفرنسية، والإسبانية، والعربية، والروسية، والصينية- إضافة إلى البرتغالية، والإسبيرنتو، والكورية، كما أنها تُطبع بكميات محدودة.
Jiaokewen zuzhi xinshi

Africa Renewal
The Africa Renewal magazine examines the many issues that confront the people of Africa its leaders and its international partners: sustainable development goals economic reform debt education health women's empowerment conflict and civil strife democratization investment trade regional integration and many other topics. It tracks policy debates. It provides expert analysis and on-the-spot reporting to show how those policies affect people on the ground. And it highlights the views of policy-makers non-governmental leaders and others actively involved in efforts to transform Africa and improve its prospects in the world today. The magazine also reports on and examines the many different aspects of the United Nations’ involvement in Africa especially within the framework of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
Afrique Renouveau
Le magazine Afrique renouveau traite des nombreux défis auxquels sont confrontés les populations africaines leurs dirigeants et leurs partenaires internationaux: les objectifs de développement durable les réformes économiques la dette l’éducation; la santé la promotion de la femme les conflits et troubles politiques la démocratisation les investissements le commerce l’intégration régionale et autres sujets. Il suit les débats d’orientation générale et publie des analyses d’experts et des reportages de terrain sur l’impact de ces débats sur la vie des populations. Il met en lumière le point de vue des décideurs politiques des responsables d’Organisations non gouvernementale et autres activement engagés dans les efforts de transformation de l’Afrique et d’amélioration de ses perspectives. Le magazine publie et examine également les différents aspects de l’engagement des Nations Unies en Afrique plus particulièrement dans le cadre du Partenariat pour le développement de l’Afrique (NEPAD).
Asia-Pacific Sustainable Development Journal
The Asia-Pacific Sustainable Development Journal (APSDJ) aims to stimulate debate and enrich research in the formulation of policy in the Asia-Pacific region towards the fulfilment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The APSDJ seeks to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge experiences ideas and analysis on issues concerning sustainable development across its economic social and environmental dimensions. Published twice a year the APSDJ is a rebranded journal of ESCAP that builds on the success of two earlier journals the Asia-Pacific Development Journal (APDJ) being published since 1994 and the Asia-Pacific Population Journal (APPJ) in print since 1986. These journals are being merged in recognition of the interconnected and multidisciplinary nature of sustainable development.
