An arbitration clause that is vaguely drafted, or incomplete, works against the expectation of the parties who resort to arbitration. Above all, copying a clause used in another contract, which a party has not drafted personally, should be avoided. Each new contract creates a new situation, which frequently calls for answers specifically and appropriately tailored to the settlement of anticipated disputes.
