China’s nuclear material control and security management system effectively operates through the implementation of nuclear material control measures, technological advancement of nuclear material accounting and control, nuclear security and physical protection and encouragement of technical cooperation. While these efforts play a positive role in enhancing international nuclear security and improving the international nuclear non-proliferation regime, relevant government agencies consider further strengthening the domestic nuclear material control system in light of the current situation.
