The Philippines and export control

The Philippines acknowledges that an effective export control regime requires the adoption or revision of definitive legislation to establish domestic controls over chemical and biological weapons, their delivery systems and a comprehensive regulatory regime. In its view, countries can strengthen their export controls through regional seminars, information sharing and bilateral agreements, training and capacity-building programmes and establishment of national and regional export control databases.
