This report presents an independent evaluation managed by the Evaluation Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan between 2000 to 2008. It assesses UNDP’s overall contribution to the development of the country over the most recent programming cycles, as well as the strategy and performance of UNDP-Uzbekistan during the last programme cycles and their action plans.

Terms of reference

The Evaluation Office (EO) of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) conducts country evaluations, referred to as Assessments of Development Results (ADRs), to capture and demonstrate evaluative evidence of UNDP contributions to development results at the country level. ADRs are carried out within the provisions of the UNDP Evaluation Policy.
