A study of the recent economic situation in selected countries

In 1964 Argentina’s economy recovered from the severe depression that it had suffered during the two preceding years. The economic recovery extended to all sectors, reduced unemployment, increased industrial output in the basic sectors, and, in sum, resulted in an estimated increase of over 8 per cent in the domestic product.
