Consolidated accounts in national currencies at current prices

Chapter II presents the main consolidated national accounts for each ESCWA member country. All the tables presented are based on data provided by the national statistical offices of corresponding countries up to February 2017. In cases where no national data were available, particularly for the last year in a series, various statistical methods were used to calculate estimates of the main aggregates. For countries that did not provide 2017 estimates, implicit deflators were estimated through regression of historical time-series against Consumer Price Index (CPI) estimates and were employed, along real growth forecasts, to obtain estimates of GDP aggregates, in both constant and current terms.
