The national accounts are compiled and disseminated by the national accounts section of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. The definitions and concepts are based on United Nations System of National Accounts 2008. Data are presented in millions of Kenya shillings. The Department adopted the 2008 SNA in 2010 and provided the revision of National accounts statistics based on the new system 2008 SNA back to 2006.
