This book was written by Georges Affaki, head of trade finance legal affairs at BNP Paribas in Paris. Dr Affaki also coordinates the bank’s energy and commodities legal affairs worldwide. His practice involves devising, negotiating and implementing financing and securities in various jurisdictions. He is Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce Commission on Banking Technique and Practice and lecturer in law at the University of Paris II.
