The largest transnational corporations

This chapter looks at developments in the universe of the largest non-financial TNCs,1 ranked by their foreign assets in 2000: the 100 largest worldwide (table IV.1), the largest 50 from developing countries (table IV.10) and the largest 25 from the economies in transition of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) (table IV.17).
