Perspectives on the Convention

The Convention on the Rights of the Child sets the standards for the care, treatment and protection of all children. Interpreting these standards and applying the measures required to realize the rights they safeguard relies on the actions of stakeholders, including parents, families and communities, civil society and the media, governments and international agencies, the private sector, advocates and activists, individuals and institutions, and children, adolescents and young people.
