This chapter presents key conclusions and recommendations based on the findings presented in the previous chapters. The conclusions should be seen as mutually reinforcing and conveying key UNDP strengths and challenges. Croatia is now in a transitional phase, given that the country becomes a member of EU as of July 2013 and the current UNDP country programme concludes at the end of December 2013. The recommendations below highlight areas in which UNDP could strengthen its strategic decisionmaking and operational modalities.
