The Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) conducts independent assessments of UNDP programmes, called Assessments of Development Results (ADR). The aim of an ADR is to collect and disseminate evidence of the contribution of UNDP to development results in the countries where it operates, and of the efficiency of UNDP strategy to facilitate and mobilise national efforts in order to achieve these results.
