Introduction

This is the forty-second issue of National Accounts Statistics: Analysis of Main Aggregates presenting a series of analytical national accounts tables for more than 200 countries and areas of the world. Like the previous issues, it has been prepared by the Statistics Division of the Department for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat with the generous co-operation of national statistical offices. It is issued in accordance with the recommendation of the Statistical Commission at its first session that the Statistics Division should publish regularly the most recent available data on national accounts for as many countries and areas as possible.
