A review on socially responsible business

The literature emphasizes that socially responsible business (SRB) transcends the exclusive emphasis on economic growth and actively contributes to building a sustainable future. As opposed to the more traditional conception that only the bottom line matters, a SRB is a business that “meet[s] the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” Implicit in this view is the idea that business also has a responsibility to society and the environment.
