Data sources for compiling financial accounts, other flow accounts and financial balance sheets by institutional sector

Chapter 7 provides a detailed description of the various data sources used for compiling the financial accounts, other flow accounts and the balance sheets by institutional sector. The data from these sources need to be incorporated into the accounts. As a first step, they are brought together for different institutional sectors, groupings of financial corporation subsectors and specific financial instrument categories, such as securities or loans.
