The arbitral award is the decision rendered by the arbitral tribunal which finally determines the issues submitted to it. The arbitral tribunal can either determine all issues in one award or decide to render one or more ‘partial’ or ‘interim’ awards before rendering its final award. A different kind of award is an ‘award by consent’.
