Miscellaneous manufactured articles

After an increase of 19.2 percent in 2011, the value (in current prices) of prefabricated buildings (SITC group 811) continued to grow by 3.8 percent in 2012 and amounted to 9.0 bln US$ (see tables 1 and 2). Imports, with a similar development, showed an increase of 1.9 percent amounting to 7.6 bln US$ in 2012 (see tables 1 and 3). Graph 1 shows that the rise in exports for 2012 in this product group exceeded the increase in world exports of miscellaneous manufactured articles (SITC section 8) of 3.7 percent and the increase in total world exports of 0.3 percent. Exports of prefabricated buildings (SITC group 811) accounted for 0.5 percent of world exports of SITC section 8 and less than 0.1 percent of total world exports (see table 1).
