The main authors of this handbook are Christophe Imhoos, lawyer at the Geneva Bar and Herman Verbist, lawyer at the Brussels Bar and visiting professor at the University of Ghent. Both have wide ranging, hands-on experience as international arbitrators and as counsel for parties in arbitration. Formerly, they served for several years as counsel at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration. They have written books and several articles on the subject, and are regular speakers and trainers at arbitration seminars and workshops.
