International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) facilitates the safety, regularity and effciency of civil air transport. As an intergovernmental regulatory organization in international civil aviation, its objectives are set down in annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago. United States, 1944) which prescribe standards, recommended practices and procedures for facilitating civil aviation operations.
