United Nations staff

In 1995, a number of questions related to the conditions of service of United Nations staff members were considered by the General Assembly. The International Civil Service Commission made recommendations to the Assembly regarding salary levels and established a working group to review the operation of the post adjustment system. Amendments to the UN Staff Regulations were approved in line with the General Assembly decision that the repatriation grant and other expatriate benefits were limited to staff who worked and resided in a country other than their home country.
