Recommended tabulations for the core indicators identified by the friends of the chair of the United Nations statistical commission on indicators on violence against women

This section outlines recommended tabulations that should be produced by a national survey on violence against women in accordance with the core set of indicators identified in chapter II. The extent of possible analyses from the survey results is extensive, depending on the sample size, the additional survey questions that are included, the local country conditions and the priorities of stakeholders. These are examples only of the main tabulations that could be produced using data as collected using the questions contained in the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) survey module on violence against women (see annex VII). More extensive dummy tables are provided on the UNECE website.
