The UNDP country programme was developed to support Jordan’s National Agenda 2006–2015. The programme has contributed to the achievement of planned outcome results in the three focus areas with varying degrees of success. It has remained relevant and responsive to the country’s emerging priorities, particularly with respect to the National Resilience Plan 2014 and the Jordan Response Plan 2015, which highlight the needs of refugee-hosting communities. UNDP has played a crucial role in assisting the Government to place the resilience-building approach on the international agenda.
