This report is on the 5th BioTrade Congress, held on 12-13 September 2019 as part of the UN Trade Forum on Climate Change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It highlighted the interconnection of climate and biodiversity and strengthened the call to address both crises jointly, recognizing that nature can provide more than 1/3 of the solution to climate change (IPBES), while climate change is a strong driver of biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation.
