Migrants in an enlarged Europe

Migration remains a key topic in public and political debates across Europe. Despite the long-standing preoccupation with asylum issues, the focus has recently shifted to economic immigration, irregular migrants and the integration of newcomers. The latter, in part, reflects an often ignored reality in Europe: many immigrants are not fully integrated, some not at all.
