At its 1st plenary meeting, on 13 September 2011, the General Assembly decided to authorize those subsidiary organs of the Assembly listed in the letter dated 6 September 2011 from the Chair of the Committee on Conferences,21 namely the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the Disarmament Commission, the Executive Board of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, the Independent Audit Advisory Committee, the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the second intersessional meeting of the preparatory process for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development and the Executive Board of the United Nations Children’s Fund, to meet during the main part of the sixty-sixth session of the Assembly.
