The Yearbook of the United Nations stands as the authoritative reference work on the activities and concerns of the Organization. This Yearbook of the United Nations is the tenth which has been published since the inception of the United Nations. It covers the year 1956 and the early months of 1957. Like the earlier volumes, it presents a comprehensive account of the many and varied activities of the United Nations and specialized agencies.
