Economic and social questions

Recent world economic trends were reviewed by the Economic and Social Council at its fortyseventh session held from 14 July to 8 August 1969. The discussion in the Council was based on the World Economic Survey, 1968, the regional suveys for Europe, Asia and the Far East, Latin America, and Africa, and on a special study on selected development problems in the Middle East.
