International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

In 1988, the Administrative Council of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) held its forty-third session (Geneva, 20 June-l July), during which it reviewed administrative and financial matters, considered reports on ITU activities and examined and discussed a new basic instrument for the Union (draft constitution and draft convention). It also examined the report of a group of experts on the long-term future of the International Frequency Registration Board (IFRB).
