Good practice for survey questions on additional variables/topics

The following tables contain examples from United Nations and international standards as well as country practices. Where there are no guidelines or principles and recommendations, country examples have been included. The included questions are only examples of possible wording to be considered when constructing questions for inclusion in a national survey. It should be noted and emphasized that these examples need to be adapted to the national context.
