The preparation of annual national accounts statistics in the Czech Republic is undertaken by the department of Annual National Accounts at the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) located in Prague. The official estimates are published annually on the internet (www.czso.cz), as well as in the annual Statistical Yearbook of the Czech Republic. The concepts, definitions, sources of basic statistics and methods of estimation for most parts of national accounts were described in Gross National Income Inventory 2002 (in 2006) and the description is going to be allocated also on CZSO's web site. This inventory was submitted by CZSO to EUROSTAT. It describes in detail all methods applied in compiling the SNA accounts and exhibits numerical results. The data provided to UNSD was received through the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Paris.
