En 2015 se inauguró un taller de escritura para mujeres en un barrio de inmigrantes de Reykjavik. Esta iniciativa adoptada por la capital islandesa en su condición de Ciudad Creativa de Literatura de la UNESCO permitió que las recién llegadas dispusieran de un espacio de creación inédito que sigue evolucionando hasta hoy.

When a multilingual writing workshop for women opened in an immigrant neighborhood of Reykjavik in 2015 no one could have quite predicted its impact. With the support of the capital of Iceland a UNESCO Creative City of Literature this initiative provided an unprecedented literary space for newcomers which is still flourishing today.

En 2015 un atelier d’écriture à destination des femmes a ouvert ses portes dans un quartier immigré de Reykjavík. Cette initiative prise par la capitale islandaise en tant que ville créative de littérature de l’UNESCO a permis d’ouvrir pour les nouveaux arrivants un espace de création inédit qui continue de prospérer.
